5 Ways To Reuse PLR

July 6th, 2008 by Richelo Killian ·

There is a glut of PLR being sold online. Quality varies greatly between titles, but it is possible to make a profit with just about any that you buy. Let’s take a look at a few ideas to help you maximize your profit potential.

Buy PLR products with the appropriate license. Be sure you have the rights to edit any PLR you purchase. This will make it possible to turn a bad product into a good one. While PLR has a technical definition, there are different interpretations – so you have to take the additional step of making sure you can use the PLR as you’d like.

As just mentioned you have to be able to edit your PLR. This allows you to create new and better products from any PLR you may buy (good or bad). You will pull way ahead of your competition when you do this effectively.

Here are a few basic ways you can turn PLR into new products.

1. Write articles using PLR for source material. You can take this one step further by promoting the version of the source PLR in the articles. Strike a balance between informing and creating the need for more for best results.

2. Create an autoresponder series. It is fairly easy to do this if you buy PLR titles with numbers in them. Like, “59 Ways To Ride A Horse”. It’s a no-brainer to derive 59 messages from that. There’s also a chance that some of the tips can be broken down into more than one message. Either way, you have good fodder for a series of messages you can send to people.

3. Give away specials reports (a few pages long) derived from PLR products to build a list. You can then turn around and sell full versions of the PLR you used to create the reports.

4. Re-write the PLR to create new eBooks that you can sell. Give it a new title and a slap on a different cover, too. You don’t have to always do a lot of re-writing. The two things you’ll want to do are add a new introduction and incorporate any personal experiences that complement the source material.

5. Finding PLR that’s on the same topic as your blog or webpage. Then use the PLR as content. It is still a good idea to do some re-writing to avoid the possibility of being penalized by the search engines for duplicate content. This technique is especially if you are have multiple websites and blogs.

There ways you can use PLR products is nearly endless. You can use the same source PLR to any number of the above items. Taking a few simple steps when buying PLR products will set you up for big profits. Not just because you know what to look for, but how to use it once it’s yours. If you’re not using the PLR you buy to its fullest extent then you are throwing your money away.

July 3rd, 2008 by Richelo Killian ·

We all know that the more comments a blog receives, the more popular it becomes.

It’s still a bit of a catch 22, as your blog needs to be somewhat popular in order to get the comments in the 1st place.

There are many ways to entice people to comment on your blog in the 1st place, but, that is outside the scope of this article.

There are TONS of WordPress plugins which can help you make the whole comment experience much better for the comment poster, but, most of them takes time to setup, and some technical know how.

I came accross an AWESOME FREE service a couple of days ago, which fixes the need to install, configure and manage multiple plugins to enhace the comment experience. It’s called Intense Debate, and you can see it in action at the bottom of this post.

Get your own free account here: http://www.intensedebate.com/install

Skype Account Hacked – Word Of Warning!

June 27th, 2008 by Richelo Killian ·

I use Skype quite a lot, and use it for business as well.

Earlier today, I get a message pop-up from Skype saying for security reasons my password has been changed. Ok, no problems I think, that is good of them. I should get an email from them shortly with my new password.

Now, as I phone a lot from Skype as well, I have setup auto payment from PayPal once the account drops below a certain amount.

Next thing, I get TWO payment notifications from PayPal, stating I paid £23 to Skype, so, totaling £46!

Now I KNEW my Skype account was hacked!

I went into PayPal, cancelled the auto payment to Skype, and changed my password.

Next, I went to Skype, to retrieve my password, but, the useless idiots who hacked my account changed the email address as well!

I opened a support case with Skype, and am now waiting for them to get back to me!

Let this be a warning to you all! Change ALL password REGULARLY, and make it HARD passwords!

Hope I don’t have to open PayPal disputes to get the funds back for those 2 transactions as well!
